Very awesomely, the Shepherd School DMA program needed teachers this year. Normally, a DMA will not teach their first year and then teach their second and third years and get a stipend the whole time. Fourth year is reserved for comprehensive exams and dissertation writing with no teaching but unfortunately, no stipend. Now, trying to maintain a normal job and write a dissertation = the pits. But, since Shepherd needed teachers for these two semesters (lower DMA acceptance over the past two years and several DMA's that have gone missing for various reasons) I got to teach Electronic Music in the fall (my third time!) and Music Fundamentals in the upcoming semester with stipend still intact. My wallet thanks you Shepherd School!
But, I also did a lot of youtube-ing today. This in particular goes against my desire to live without technology more. It's not a new years resolution. It is just a life alteration that I want to adopt. I suppose its a process. Anyway, here were some highlights:
Nature shows and drunk people. Enjoy.
